Amazing! The next few years are going to be very exciting. We are just at the starting line of the AI revolution. The way in which we work and how we accomplish tasks today, in both our personal and professional lives, will be forever changed. The skills and tasks that a job requires today, will be very different in just a few years’ time. Check out the video below…mind blowing!
I’ve been following Sal Khan since 2009, when he was producing educational videos on Youtube (after making the bold decision to quit his job as a hedge fund analyst). I was also an early user/promoter of his first iOS app, Khan Academy in 2012. I would pick a random topic and watch a video each night before going to bed. I’m a lifelong learner, and although his early videos were mostly targeted towards student topics, his style of teaching was so enjoyable and engaging that you found yourself simply relearning something you already knew, just for fun! I was a big fan of his history and financial literacy lessons. I still love his rent vs buy financial analysis video. I was asked by their web team to record a video testimonial once, but I regrettably never found time to respond to that email. So here I am now, sharing my love for the Khan Academy platform.
Sal has profoundly impacted education by providing people worldwide with access to quality education and empowering them with knowledge. Their mission is “to provide a free, world-class education to anyone, anywhere.” If you haven’t heard of him, look him up. It’s amazing people like Sal that change the world. I’m excited to see how he leverages ChatGPT (OpenAI) technology in his education platform. I have immense respect for you, Sal Khan…please keep doing the amazing work you are doing!
