Norse IPviking is a free online tool that displays a real-time visual map of global attacks with information such as, the attacking country, the target country, and the type of attack that is being carried out. No surprise, but you will see most of the attacks originating from China.
This stuff is super cool to watch, especially at specific times of the day. Another interesting thing to note is where most of the attacks are coming from and what countries are repeatedly getting hit. You can see why US information security experts are so highly valued…the US receives the majority of the global attacks.
